Katie Shanley

Katie has been teaching yoga for over 7 years and practicing for over 13. She is a 500-Hour trauma-informed yoga teacher. Katie received her 200-hour certification from Sanctuary Power Yoga in CT and her 300-hour certification from Akshi Yoga Shala in Rishikesh, India. She holds additional certifications in yin yoga, trauma-informed yoga, buti yoga, barre, holistic health coaching, herbalism, and aromatherapy. Katie describes her yoga practice as a friend who is always there for her, even in the darkest of times, reminding her to be brave and creative and not to live in fear or struggle. Her style is an eclectic and holistic blend of her skills and her approach to teaching is one of intuition and a shared healing experience. Katie teaches a strengthening Vinyasa style that is best suited for moderate to advanced practitioners.
